More than 200 Ohio Leaders Urge Ohio’s Congressional Delegation to Support Jim Jordan for Speaker of the House

Business, political, religious, and community leaders launch calling on Ohio’s Congressional Delegation to support Congressman Jordan for Speaker of the House.

COLUMBUS – More than 200 leaders from throughout Ohio, including 14 state lawmakers, launched an advocacy effort at to garner support for Congressman Jim Jordan for Speaker of the House of Representatives.

The broad list of supporters covers all 16 of Ohio’s Congressional Districts. The goal is to urge the Congressional delegation to support Congressman Jordan’s bid for speaker.

“If there’s one thing every Ohioan can agree on, it’s that Congress is broken. We need new leadership that isn’t subject to special interests,” said Aaron Baer, president of First Freedom Ohio, which is spearheading the effort. “Congressman Jordan has a record of being a strong independent voice, and fighting for the American people. He’s a man of integrity who has consistently stood up for life, family and freedom.”

Every Ohioan is invited to sign the letter. When they sign, they have the option of having the letter automatically emailed to their Representative. also lists every leader who is an inititial signer of the letter, along with where Ohio’s congressional delegation stands on stands on the vote for Speaker of the House today.
